What is a Certified Translation
Certified Translation,
also known as an official or verified translation, is a translation made by a translator registered in the List of Experts, Interpreters and Translators of the Slovak Republic, maintained by the Ministry of Justice of the Slovak Republic. In addition to the highest linguistic quality, a certified translation is characterised by specific features regulated by Act No 382/2004 Coll.; namely, among other particulars, such a translation bears the translator’s certification and is bond with a tricolour (blued-white-red) string and stamped with the translator´s official seal.
Regular Translation
should be of high professional quality but does not contain any of the specific features of the certified translation mentioned above. These are most often translations of manuals, instructions, professional articles and publications, business documentation, etc.
Who Is a Certified Translator
Certified translations are made by a linguistic expert listed in the List of Experts, Interpreters and Translators of the Slovak Republic, maintained by the Ministry of Justice of the Slovak Republic, who is appointed by the Minister of Justice after successful completion of a professional examination and fulfilment of other requirements laid down by law.

The translation process starts just after the quotation and deadline is confirmed by the client. Our clients are informed about the completed translations via sms or e-mail. Completed translations can be collected in person or sent by post or email worldwide.
